The Kairos Society, a non-profit organization that encourages college students to become entrepreneurs, invited Intelius to be a major sponsor and Jain as a guest speaker in their First Kairos Summit held on April 3-4, 2009 at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City. Participants were encouraged to become innovators by Naveen Jain for according to him, innovation can lead to development. College entrepreneurs were able to meet and interact with world and industry leaders. The summit’s theme was the combating of the existing worldwide economic crisis through entrepreneurship.

Moreover, the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) invited Jain to participate in their Economic, Business and Development Conference at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in New York City. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the organization, the conference gathered Indian leaders around the globe to talk about India and the Indian Diaspora in the present environment of alarming international economic issues.
