493Regular Bachelor: Stumble upon Quality Relationships

posted on June 12th, 2009

It’s a given I’m not your typical eligible dude, all too satisfied by watching junk tv without a date every weekend. I’d bet people probably never witnessed me ramble on great dating and companionship. No surprise.

Dependence is an avoidable quality and entirely never written into my pedigree. But I do have a tender heart. Here’s the situation, I had no choice but to squelch a special cohabitation and I felt a great deal for but simply carried on to nowhere. Therefore somone would go on record saying it has been a few years since I was dating. I’m missing the great expectations I held years ago.

Single life has had its perks so far. This much is certain, I can’t sit tight, peacefully devowering Lost on my big screen. The number one reason for this spell of fresh break-up dating boredom? This isn’t college, and everyone else is boring.

My go-getting golf pal, Andrew, who doesn’t know the meaning of dating lameness, told me he’s now somewhere he can relate. He joinedGreat Expectations Dallas. Not usually my thing, but I can’t argue with mingling among new ladies who share my passions. So I put myself on a plan and paid the membership fee to get started.

Keep it real, you wouldn’t feel down due to not having plans if ya haven’t stepped off the bench. Just like my old basketball coach Terry Simms carried on grinning, “You’re complaining to the competition, son.”

So he was divorced 4 times. Still, he was truly a wise sould in a good old fashioned way. He always made us laugh. This fun Dallas matchmaking service I joined could have done a number on the gipper’s shiny bald head.

Last night at a Great Expectations happy hour I breezily chatted with some substantive and appealing ladies that meet my expectations. I truthfully had a good time with some intelligently noteworthy singles. I ducked out of the mixer a little early following a sweet farewell, and even grew some political connections for work. Very cool.

Put yourself in the play. Can’t go wrong if you don’t try. Take it from me, you might as well have great expectations for life’s sake.

Live It Up!
