If your thinking of treating your children with an swimming or paddling pool this summer, Redsave have a range of pools available including quick up paddling pools and steel frames paddling pools. Its important to consider the safety aspect of owning a garden swimming pool, particularly if you have young children or pets, infact local councils have been told that any public paddling pools (with a depth of over 18 inches), ought to either be drained or be staffed by full-time lifeguards, of course thats a little extreme but it does show the danger of such pools.
Its always advisable to drain your pool when it will not be used for prolonged periods and when drained its even a good idea to move the pool to allow your grass time to recover, this will save you leaving a large pool shaped blemish on your lawn, of course you need to consider where the water from your drained pool will run, as even a small 8ft circular pool will hold several hundred litres of water, you certainly would’nt want to flood your neighbours garden for instance.
